Commitment: 12 hours a week
Rate of pay: £8 per hour

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and trustworthy young person to join our team! To apply you can either make a short video (no more than 2 minutes) or write a letter (no more than 300 words) describing yourself and why you’d like to work with the Little Lounge team.

The applicant must be available for work Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays with some Saturday commitments.
The role will be split over two sites, so you need to be able to travel to The Basement in Cilfynydd (Lower ground floor Cilfynydd Community Centre) And The Allotment site on the outskirts of village. Both sites are situated near a bus route.
You will be learning skills in the following areas:
- Customer services
- Using a till & handling money
- Basic catering skills / cleaning
- Assisting with children’s activities and events
- Gardening skills (Some manual work expected eg lifting)
Training qualifications provided:
- Safeguarding
- Food Hygiene
- First Aid training

The position will be conditional on a Basic DBS Check and a character reference will be required from a teacher, coach, or mentor (not a family member) who has known you for over two years. A small budget is available for boots and a coat for the outdoor work.
