Pantry Volunteer Role Description

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Cilfynydd Community Pantry!

Here’s a flavour of what volunteering with us could look like:

• Driving your own vehicle to collect boxes of food donations from local supermarkets
• Unloading at the Centre
• Setting up the produce for Pantry sessions
• Passing out food at the Pantry to users
• Taking cash, counting and recording
• Recording user numbers
• Locking/unlocking the Basement
• Engaging with the public respectfully and compassionately
• Tidying up recycling boxes and putting out for collection
